Swingland's Musicians
Swingland have a 6 piece core group of musicians and enhance with additional players depending on your requirements. The first 6 members on these profiles make up our core wedding orchestra.
John Lucas
John is our Lead Vocalist and Trumpet/Trombone player. As a professional musician teachng and performing, John is well suited to the Sinatra Buble swing styles all the way to those classic rock standards.
Michael Prizeman
Michael brings to the Band a wealth of vocal and Guitar talent.Experience expanding over 40 years, Michael is our driving force with his rhythmic guitar styles and exceptional vocal flexibility.
Jeff Mead
Jeff provides the band with his Alto/Tenor sax talents and also his excellent presentation as MC to most weddings. Again a professional teacher and has been with the band from it inception.
Perry Tremewen
Our ever reliable Bass Player. Perry has been playing the Big Band scene with some of the most noted players for many years and brings his talents to this combination. Perry also teaches bass privately and in private schools
Jo Abbott
Our Piano/Keyboard player of distinquished fame. Jo teaches and provides accompaniement services, plus Jo also plays professionally, Piano Accordian and is a singer of French songs in Melbourne. Jo is our second vocalist to John and they provide some great duets.
Errol Hatch
The arranger and drummer of the band. Errol has been playing professionally since he was 15 in all the different Jazz/Swing styles. Swingland gives him the opportunity to play those classics that make the swing style so enjoyable to play.
Martin West
Martin is a professional music teacher and brings his excellent Flute and Alto Sax skills to Swingland. He provides the band with his enthusiasm and solo talents.
